Description
Wind in the Willows Manor Farm consists of two self-catering cottages situated on a beautiful farm on the Magalies Meander. Badger Lodge can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. We also call this unit "Dairy Cottage" as the immediate neighbours are cows! Both bedrooms are en-suite with the main bedroom comprising of a queen size bed and the en-suite bathroom has a shower and bath. The second bedroom has a double bed plus one single bed and there is a shower in the en-suite bathroom. The kitchen contains all that is required for self catering purposes and includes a gas stove and microwave oven. Badger is set high up on the farm and has wonderful views of the valley.
Turtle Cottage accommodates 4 people. This thatched unit overlooks our dam. The accommodation comprises of one bedroom with a queen size bed and the en-suite bathroom has a shower. The other bedroom has a double bed and there is a Victorian bath in the en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering purposes.
Both cottages have private terraces and braai (BBQ) facilities and the bird life, peace and tranquility is truly overwhelming.
Attractions
Wind in the Willows is set on the beautiful Magalies Meander where you can enjoy the many hiking trails they have to offer as well as birdwatching and fishing.
The Magalies Meander is well known for wonderful arts and crafts and antique shops.

Directions
Take the R509 to Koster. Turn off to WITW which is 17kms from Magalies Village with 3.5km of sand road which is in reasonable condition, at the mercy of summer rains. You will find Wind in the Willows at the end of this road.
