The Estate offers the experience of feeling away from it all, yet only a few minutes from the convenience of the tourist town with a selection of shops, restaurants, ATM's banks, boutiques. Use the lodge as a base to explore tourist attractions and Kruger Park. Chill in the pool-the wildlife will pay you a visit. The lodge's middle wing consists of open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen, guest toilet. Exit on a large patio overlooking the pool and lapa. Enjoy birdlife viewing/stargazing and sundowners at the fire pit when the African bush comes to life. Two wings of the lodge each contains two bedroms overlooking pool and bush. Game viewing: Hoedspruit is the centre of the Big 5 area. Kruger Park's Orpen/Phalaborwa gates are 71km away.
Wildlife activies: incl. Hoedspruit Cheetah Breeding Project 18km; Mholoholo Rehabilitation Centre Kampersrus 28km; Swadini Snake Park 16km; Elephant back safaris (Kapama Game Reserve) 10km.
Secenic routes: Panorama route is easily accessible with sights such as Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window, Worlds View, Lisbon/Berlin & Graskop Gorge (1.5 hrs driving).
Water Activities:
Fishing/boating on the Klaseri Dam 35km; Blydepoort Dam game viewing excursions can be undertaken through registered tour operators; white river rafting on the Blyde River, in Canyon or Olifants Gorge next to Abel Erasmus Pass. Scenic game viewing on a sunset boat cruise on the Olifants River.
Golfing;
Hoedspruit Drakensig Golf Club (9 hole courst) overlooks Drakensburg mountains. The famous Merensky Gold Courst (18 hole) in Phalaborwa is situated on edge of Kruger Park, 75km. Here animals have the right of way!

Directions
From Johannesburg/Pretoria:
Take highway towards Witbank/Middelburg. Continue on N4 to Nelspruit, take the Belfast off-ramp. Pass Dullstroom, Lydenburg and Ohrigstad until Hoedspruit. Pass through town & railway bridge. Turn right at 4 way-stop. First left past Pick 'n Pay centre into the Wildlife Estate.
From Nelspruit:
Take R40 North to Phaloborwa, past With River, Hazyview and Bushbuckridge. Turn right towards Orpen gate, drive past turn-off and next turn-off on your right, towards Phalaborwa. Enter Hoedspruit. Watch out for Total petrol station (left) and Pick & Pay (right). Turn right before the 4-way stop. Continue straight until the entrance to the Wildlife Estate.
