Description
Tintagel is an elegant, well managed Victorian guesthouse, situated in Gardens, Cape Town city bowl. We are known for outstanding hospitality, convenient location and charming ambience.
Guests are within walking distance from restaurants, art galleries and other tourist sites.
Corporate guests are close to the convention centre, Supreme Court and Parliament.
Bedrooms
Five double en-suite rooms are fitted with comfortable beds and quality linen.
Amenities include flat screen television, security safe, international plug points and hair dryer.
Selected rooms have air conditioning. The other rooms have freestanding fans/heaters.
Complimentary coffee, tea and Jerepigo on antique silver trays complete the setting.
All the rooms have ADSL connectivity. Internet usage is free of charge. Full English and continental breakfast is served in the courtyard on summer mornings.
As a commitment to conserving energy, Tintagel guesthouse is fitted with solar water-heating systems. We recycle waste, use biodegradable products and where ever possible purchase local, free-range food produce.

Provisional enquiries are valid for 24 hours during peak season.
A minimum of 2 nights stay during peak season.
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking.
Balance of accommodation is due on arrival.

Deposit via bank transfer – bank details supplied on request.
Cancellation charges
Cancellation 0 - 14 days of arrival. 50% of total amount charged.
Cancellation 15-30 days of arrival. 25% of total amount charged.
Waiver of cancellation charges are at the discretion of the owner.

Directions

• Tintagel location on GPS Coordinates S33 55 40.12 E18 24 35.26
• Drive along the N2 highway towards CITY/CAPE TOWN.
• Follow the M6 Seapoint,CTICC,Waterfront overhead signs to the 1st traffic light intersection.
• You will cross 6 traffic light intersections, before you reach Tintagel.
• Follow the M62 Camps Bay, Table Mountain sign along Buitengracht Street for 1.5km.
• Look out for a CALTEX garage on the left at the 6th traffic light intersection.
• Do not turn left into Buitensingel Street. - Even if the GPS says so!
• You are in New Church Street and 500 meters from Tintagel. Keep in the right lane.
• Drive past Backpack Travel Centre nr 74 on the right.
• The double lane one way street slopes downhill for 50 meters.
• Tintagel, nr 90 is situated on the right ( opposite the Park Road T-junction on the left)
