Welcome to The Old Hatchery.
You have chosen to come to the most beautiful part of the Drakensberg in KZN. There is nothing quite like Southern Berg hospitality. Our little haven is just 10km from Underberg nestled amongst some hills overlooking rolling farmlands and the Umzimkulu River on the Drakensberg Gardens Rd.
Whether you would prefer bed & breakfast accommodation in Oak Tree Guest House or some privacy in your own home-away-from-home cottage or just some time out in a rustic little fishing cabin, we can offer you the perfect solution.
For larger functions, we can sleep a total of 40 people utilizing all of our units.
The Southern Drakensberg offers a range of activities that will suit everyone from toddlers to grandparents, for the adventurers and for those who just need some time to chill out.
