Directions
From Cape Town airport, take the N2 towards Cape Town. Approaching the mountain, take the left off-ramp onto the M3, heading towards Muizenberg.
At the first set of traffic lights (intersection with Paradise Road and Rhodes Ave), turn right into Rhodes Ave, which will take you past Kirstenbosch Gardens (on your right) to a T junction on the hill where you turn right. Continue along Rhodes Drive towards Constantia Nek (mountain on your right).
Before reaching Constantia Nek, turn left into Southern Cross Drive (well sign posted), then first left into Dawn Ave. Southdown Cottage is located at No. 4 Dawn Ave (“Southdown”), second property on your right.
