Incredibly beautiful stone French style farmhouse perched on a sandstone ridge overlooking a stream and trout pond, surrounded by 28 hectares of indigenous grasslands and magnificent mountain views from every room. The multi level stone and Oregon house designed by artists Simon Addy & Lyn Hoyle is tucked behind a sandstone outcrop and not visible from the main tar road. The house has featured in Elle Décor, Country Life cover, Sarie and many more. The huge studio area is used for mid-week creative courses.
There are 5 bedrooms-3 luxury en suite with king sized beds and 2 sharing a bathroom. These 2 bedrooms can be either 2 single beds or a king. All linen is 100%cotton percale. The open plan downstairs incorporates the kitchen with AGA and under floor heating, TV lounge, reading Lounge, entrance hall and studio.
The Honeymoon Suite has a fireplace, en suite loo & basins, under floor heated spa room with steam room, shower and Jacuzzi. Private kitchenette, large deck with braai facilities and a separate entrance.

Due to the multi levels and natural rock pool regret Ridge Road is not recommended for small children and frail adults.
The Honeymoon suite can be rented separately from main house.

Directions
3 hours from JHB or Bloem. 4 from Durban. The house is 9 kilometers from Clarens village on the R711 to Fouriesburg. There is only 500m of gravel driveway to the house.
