Castle in Clarens brings you Rapunzel’s Tower.
Rapunzel decided to open the fairytale book and let you stay in her Castle, just outside Clarens in the heart of the Maluti Mountains.
This self-catering guesthouse (with breakfast on request) will introduce to you the world of royalty, fantasy and luxury.
Let the fantasy begin….
At Rapunzel’s Tower you will have the entire castle at your disposal where you will be treated like royalty. Your eyes can feast on the décor and object de art that was carefully handpicked from all over the world to tantalize the senses. Cornerstones from Windsor Castle, tapestries from Dubai, light fittings from America and tiles from Europe all contribute to an unbelievable experience.
While you prepare the barbeque in the Chamber of Angels, have a glass of your favorite wine and watch the sun slowly disappear behind the Red Mountains from Sunset Corner. The guest to this Castle will be treated with spectacular views of Mount Horeb and in the evening, the lights of Clarens looks like stars that have fallen to the valley below.
The garden is especially designed to fit in the with the Rapunzel fairytale. Thorn trees, small pathways, and of course the vegetable garden with the famous Rampion, are all very true to the fairytale.
Rapunzel’s Tower sleeps 4 people, the two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms have exquisite finishes: a bath suspended 12 meters above ground level is all part of the experience. No detail was spared to ensure that guests can enjoy a true fantasy experience, only fit for royalty.

Directions
5 km outside Clarens on the Golden Gate Road, follow the Bokpoort, Craig Rossie, and Castle in Clarens signs. Go through Bokpoort and find the Castle entrance on the right. Continue for 500m and let your fantasy begin….
