Buchan Estate is a country estate offering accommodation in thatched cottages with high beamed ceilings, tranquil views and furnished with touches of Africa. Set in 3 acres of paddocks and gardens, the estate is surrounded by mountains and trees with the Disa River running through the property.
With emphasis on relaxation, privacy and nature there are 3 cottages and 2 double bedrooms, each of which enjoys uninterrupted views, private patio and modern furniture and fittings. Each cottage enjoys TV, DVD and bbq facilities. Fully serviced, there is a nice pool area with wellness lounger on site.
Buchan Estate is walking distance to World of Birds, 5 minutes to the beach and restaurants and 20 minutes to Cape Town centre.
A catering and transfer service is also available.

Directions
Coming into Hout Bay:
From Constantia side (M63): As you come into Hout Bay watch for the turn off for Tarragona Lodge to your right, onto Disa River Road. Go along this road, over the bridge and at the T junction you turn left onto Valley Road. Continue until you come to a 4-way stop with the World of Birds on your right. Turn left into Welbevind Way and we are the last property on the left hand side.
From Llandudno side:
As you come down the hill into Hout Bay take the slip road off left at the traffic lights. You will pass a small shopping complex on your right and turn first left into Valley Road. Continue along until you come to a 4-way stop with World of Birds just ahead of you on your left. Turn right at this 4-way stop into Welbevind Way, we are the last property on the left hand side.
