Description
An African Villa consists of three Victorian terrace houses linked to form a large villa. Styled in contemporary African décor which has been described as “urban safari” in feel in international publications.
Common areas (Library/Lounge/Dining room/Kitchen) are all spacious and the 13 rooms are very generous in size. 5 have balconies and some have views of Table Mountain. There is a secluded courtyard with small plunge pool where breakfast is served in summer months.
Complementary internet access (2 computers and wi-fi) as well as port and sherry at night and cake in the day.
Honesty bar in the kitchen.
We are close to many of the restaurants of Kloof Street and within walking distance to the city centre.
We are known for the staff’s friendliness and knowledgeable recommendations to the city’s attractions.

Directions
From the airport, follow signs to “City” and then to de Waal Drive (M3 North) – take care NOT to turn towards M3 Kirstenbosch!). Then follow signs to the cable car. On reaching the beginning of Kloof Nek Road, double back down Upper Buitengracht (towards the city) and at the second road on the left turn left into Carstens Road. The guesthouse is in the second block (after a stop street) on the left hand side of the road.
