La Petite Dauphine is an historical working fruit & wine farm with superior accommodation. Situated just two kilometers from the village of Franschhoek "The Gourmet Capital of South Africa" it is in the heart of the Cape Winelands and a playground for diverse interests.

La Petite Dauphine has two, 2 bed roomed cottages with full en-suite bathrooms and private lounges. Two, 1 bed roomed suites with full en-suite bathroom and private lounge and two, 1 bed roomed studios with full en-suite bathroom and open plan lounges.
All cottages are set amongst vineyards and plum orchards. The magnificent views of the Franschhoek Mountains can be viewed from all rooms.

La Petite Dauphine nestles within the Gourmet Capital of South Africa where the top five restaurants are just a short drive away, providing superb evening dining facilities.

La Petite Dauphine surrounds their guests with all the finest comforts and attention to detail imaginable. The stylish and luxurious accommodation includes, King size beds with 100% white cotton linen, pure down duvets, pillows and feather bed mattress toppers for that extra comfort. There are soft white fluffy towels, gowns and slippers. All bathrooms are adorned with exquisite Charlotte Rhys products.
All rooms have air-conditioning and stunning Morso Fireplaces to cozy up in winter.
Digital safes, hairdryers, alarm clocks, TV’s, DVD’s, wireless internet and telephones are available in all rooms, which are also equipped with fridges, tea and coffee making facilities. In addition; there is an Honesty Bar with a selection of cool drinks, water, beers, wine and snacks available for purchase.
From Cape Town take the N1 passing Bellville, Winelands Garage and the first Stellenbosch turnoff. Take the next turnoff (Nr 47) named, R44 Stellenbosch / Klapmuts; at the T-junction turn right (driving under the motorway onto the R44). Drive straight across the next 4-way stop and approximately 400m on, turn left at the Franschhoek sign.

Continue on this road for approximately 8kms, you will cross over railway lines at Vrede en Lust wine estate to the next T-junction. Turn right onto the R45 towards Franschhoek for approximately 16kms. Continue driving through the village of Franschhoek towards the Huguenot Monument. At this T-junction turn right on to Excelsior Road for approximately 1,7kms and you will find us on the left hand side – La Petite Dauphine Guest Farm and Café BonBon’

Visit the historical Groot Drakenstein Games Club and watch (or participate in) a game of friendly cricket on the first turf wicket laid in South Africa. *
Walk through the orchards and vineyards behind Mont Rochelle Winery, past two dams, to reach the beacon, giving you a fantastic view of the valley.
Visit Bien Donne with its lavender fields, herb garden, manor house and deli.
