Wheatlands Lodge is a picturesque 2 hours’ drive from Cape Town via the N2 and R316. The lodge is situated cross-roads to Arniston, Agulhas, Struisbaai, Swellendam and Napier, in the heart of the wheat and sheep farming area.
Set in a peaceful, private garden with braai/barbecue facilities, we provide 5 en-suite bedrooms.
We specialise in crisp, clean fresh rooms with quality service offering traditional English fruit breakfast.
We offer off-street parking and Wheatlands is a short walk from the local restaurants.
From Cape Town International Airport
Take the N2 towards Somerset West. Follow the N2 to Caledon. Turn right off the N2 into Caledon – see the sign for Southern Most Tip of Africa. Go straight through Caledon and follow the R316 through Napier and on to Bradasdorp. You enter Bredasdorp on Long Street (the main road through Bredasdorp). You will find Wheatlands Lodge at 40 Long Street, on the left hand side. This is just after the 3rd 4-way stop and diagonally opposite FNB.
Bredasdorp is approximately 193 kms from Cape Town, so the journey should take you between 2 and 2.5 hours, depending on the traffic and time of day.
