Overview

Facing the spectacular sandstone hill with the outcrop shaped as a camels head (giving it it’s name) is this tranquil farm with glorious views of the Maluti Mountains. Camelroc is situated between the two Caledon rivers and is close to Caledonspoort border post. Camelroc can definitely be recommended as a good base from which to explore the Eastern Fee State as well as Lesotho.

Camelroc has 5 fully equipped self catering chalets, sleeping 2-8 persons. There are also 3 en-suite B&B rooms in the main farmhouse. Caravan and camping sites, as well as a hikers cabin are also available.
Directions
Take the R26 to Bethlehem and then to Fouriesburg. At Fouriesburg take the R711 to Clarens for about 500m, and then turn to the Caledonspoort border post (9km). At the border post turn left before the entrance, and immediately right onto a gravel road. Keep left on the gravel road for about 800m to the guest house.
